Attica - Harold F. Davis, 71 of Rt 2, Attica died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  He had been in ill health since May.  He was born in Remington and had lived near West Lebanon.  He had been an Attica resident since 1948.  Mr. Davis was a farmer and former employee of Harrison Steel Casting Company.  In 1937, he was married in Remington to Margaret Miles who survives. She is a bus driver for Attica schools.  Other survivors include a daughter, Karen Davis of Rt 2, Attica; a son, Gary Davis of Rt 1, Attica; three half brothers, Francis Davis of French Lick; Robert Davis of Victoria, Texas and Leo Davis of Cedra, Texas and two half sisters, Dorothy Hollingsworth of Weisbaden, West Germany and Hazel Priest of Port Lavaca, Texas.

Harold F. Davis of RR 2, Attica, age 71, died Sunday night, October 17, in St. Elizabeth at Lafayette. He was born at Remington, January 6, 1911, the son of Clyde and Eva Shew Davis. November 23, 1927, he married Margaret Miles, who survives. He had farmed for 27 years and also worked at Harrison Steel Casting Company.
  Also surviving are a daughter, Karen Davis of RR 2, Attica; a son, Gary of RR 1, Attica; two half sisters, Dorothy Hollingsworth of Wiesbaden, West Germany, and Hazel Priest of Fort Laroco, Texas; three half brothers, Francis of French Lick, Robert of Victoria, Texas, and Leo of Cedar, Texas; and two grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Maus Chapel in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica.
